ALBERTA WELL INTELLIGENCE / DESKTOP SCREEN
Directive 079 Development Screen turns public records and supplied site information into a preliminary, source-traceable desktop screen for Alberta development decisions.
Preliminary desktop intelligence. Not a survey, regulatory opinion, reclamation certificate, environmental assessment, or engineering sign-off.

WHY SCREEN FIRST
Public records are essential, but development decisions need context: what source produced the record, when it was retrieved, how close it falls to the AOI, and what remains unresolved.
We review your site boundary, project context, and supplied plans before comparing them with current public records.
INPUT / KML, KMZ, GEOJSON, SHAPEFILE, PDFAbandoned-well locations, revised coordinates, and relevant integrity context are kept distinct and source-dated.
METHOD / INTERSECT, DISTANCE, SOURCE REVIEWEvery finding is marked preliminary, unresolved, or requiring specialist work, with a concrete next action.
OUTPUT / EVIDENCE REGISTER, MAP, NEXT ACTIONSINTERACTIVE SAMPLE / SYNTHETIC DATA
This demonstration uses synthetic records to show how an AOI, screening bands, source notes, and unresolved questions appear in a customer screen.
THE ENGAGEMENT
Not a raw data dump. The screen gives your project team a bounded record of what was checked, what appeared near the site, and which questions require survey, field, engineering, environmental, legal, or regulatory follow-up.
Concise PDF with project context, method, map plates, findings, limitations, and recommended next actions.
Review identified records, source details, screening distances, and evidence states without specialist GIS software.
Licence, recorded location, licensee, status, integrity context when available, source date, confidence, and unresolved questions.
Downloadable CSV and GeoJSON for your consultant, planner, surveyor, or internal project system.
FROM SITE TO SCREEN
Pay the C$750 scoping deposit and identify the project, buyer type, and Alberta location.
We review the boundary, project context, file quality, and whether the work fits standard scope.
After scope acceptance, the C$2,500 balance is issued privately and source review begins.
Target delivery is five business days after AOI acceptance and balance payment.
STANDARD ENGAGEMENT
The initial deposit pays for intake and scoping. It is applied in full to an accepted standard engagement.

This is preliminary desktop intelligence based on available public and supplied information. It is not a survey, legal opinion, regulatory approval, reclamation certificate, environmental assessment, engineering sign-off, or permitting decision.

WORKING QUESTIONS
No. The screen identifies relevant public records, distances, source limitations, and required next actions. It does not replace confirmed physical well location, survey, testing, specialist review, municipal process, or an AER decision.
We review it during intake and provide a revised scope before requesting the balance. The C$750 deposit remains credited toward an accepted engagement for 90 days.
Yes. We accept an address, legal land description, project description, or PDF site plan when spatial files are not yet available. We confirm the interpreted AOI before completing the screen.
No. Public coordinates are desktop-screening inputs. The report identifies when a record warrants physical locating, survey, testing, or other specialist confirmation.
If we decline before AOI or supplied-material review begins, the deposit is refunded. Once review begins, it is a non-refundable scoping fee credited to the engagement.
